Reef rock color reference
Much of the rock on a coral reef is built from the skeletons of old corals. Over time it is covered by algae, sponges, small corals and other living things. Its holes and ledges give shelter to fish, crabs and shrimp.
Colors to reach for
Start with sandy beige and stone for the rock, then add pink for coralline algae and small patches of green and purple life.
