Shell collection color reference

Seashells are the hard outer skeletons of mollusks such as snails, clams and scallops. They are made mostly of calcium carbonate taken from seawater. The lines on a shell show how it grew, layer by layer.

Colors to reach for

Mix cream, sand, soft coral and warm brown across the shells, and add a little pearly pink or lilac inside the openings.
