Harp seal pup color reference
Pagophilus groenlandicus
Harp seals live in the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean. Their pups are born on the sea ice with a fluffy white coat. After a few weeks the white coat is shed and replaced by a spotted gray one.
Colors to reach for
Keep the pup white and cream with pale blue-gray shadows, and use black for the eyes, nose and whiskers.
